First things first: Hi! My name is Sariah Champagne- Yes. Like the drink. ive heard all the jokes, please refrain from making any.

I just turned 17 as of when this was made- and Im mixed with Jamaican, Chinese, Haitian and Dominican.

im a huge family person, i love my family with my soul.

im also huge on carefully picking out your friends. Who you surround yourself with is detrimental to how you carry yourself and how you feel. So you should always be careful with choosing who you associate with.

i work with an amazing team that i like the call my family. We work with exotic animals to help educate and expose people to what is out there and how to care for them and our enviorment. Ever since i was a kid ive been obsessed with animals and science, and dinosaurs and just, the world (and things beyond it.) ive always been curious about things and i love that about myself. Im grateful to have peopl in my life who support my curiosity.

i am known to be a pretty busy person. i tend to try and keep myself busy since i am home alot, meaning i do alot of things all of the time, and dont always have time to do anything at all. (poor time managment.)

I do duel enrollment plus AP classes and go to a co-op. I do girlscouts (which takes up alot more time than you'd think.) and i do work events.

Though despite all of this, i try my best to make time to have hobbies and try new things. Like coding! I got into HYPE because the booth was right next to mine and i couldnt help but be interested. Ive always been interested in coding but i never actially got to indulge. Im not the best at it as of now, but i did it in the past for a girlscout badge and i had developed a game. At some point after getting the badge i ended up getting too busy getting new badges and certifications and awards that i never really picked it back up. So i scrapped the game. And i wish i never did, because i probably would've learned something from it. But you live and learn right?

My goal in life is to become a wildlife rehabilitator and surgeon. But if you were to ask me on a deeper level id say that my ultimate goal in life is to be happy, healthy, and proud of how i've lived, and to make my place in the world to be remembered. I never want to regret trying new things or meeting new people. And i never want to regret NOT trying new things and meeting new people. Something my mom alway says is: "Always try something once."....within reason of course. But ill always keep that saying in mind. Because theres always things to do and people to meet and places to see, and experiences to have.

Theres so many great things in this world and not enough time. But no one wants to waste the time they DO have. Right? i know i dont. So even if im not great at it, and i need alot more practice, i appreciate the opportunity HYPE has given me to learn the basics of coding. Ill try my best to keep up with it and do something great. Who knows? Maybe ill make a world renowned game or something.

The point im making here is that im really grateful for the opportunity to do this (even though my first project got deleted and i cried.) Coding is a valuable skill to learn and i've genuinly learned to....somewhat love it. Thank you HYPE.
